Came in with bad running, Lumenition on a worn out distributor did not help and perhaps caused the problem of low compression on one cylinder We will be showing it all as it unravels.
Who ever designed this engine from the Std 4CYl. Engine deserves a medal for making it happen but a firing squad for how its works and how its lashed together, Mixed opinions for sure.
As we strip down this Triumph Stag V8 its becoming obvious we are not the first ones to do it as, as normal we are finding some shocking mistakes.
With the engine removed, the heads being completly rebuilt with new valve seats and guides correct for modern unleaded fuels we can give this worn out engine a new lease of life.email us for further details.
