Nigel Dean's RPi Powered Dax

Nigel came to us with the idea of building the ultimate Dax Rush and wanted us to supply the power plant. Obviously we were more than happy to help and he decided upon one of our 4.6 litre engines with some new design cylinder heads, Mallory ignition and our triple throttle body carbon fiber intake injection system.

Along with this we also supplied our new T5 gearbox setup with concentric clutch and the capability to cope with all this power.

Unfortunately we do not have a dyno sheet of Nigels finished project however the dyno sheet at the bottom of this page shows the baby brother of this engine with a single throttle body injection system.

Just take a look at this computer read out.

0 - 60 in 3.36 seconds - Thats quicker than a Lamborghini Diablo!

Now were not sure what you think, but this has to be one of the best looking engines ever to leave our workshop, and one of the most powerful as well.

Here is a dyno graph of this engines baby brother, the engine that this graph represents only had our single throttle body upgrade, unlike the above thriple throttle bodied engine. Ignore the first spike at the beginning of the graph as this was dynoed through an auto box and this is simply the gear change.
